A real-talk take on Portland eats, travel finds, and the joy of discovering food that just hits.

Welcome to the One Bite Foodie Community! We’re thrilled to have you here. Could you start by telling us a bit about yourself and your journey as a food reviewer or influencer?

Thank you so much for having me! I’m Kimberlynn, and I create content centered around food, travel, and lifestyle in the Pacific Northwest—especially Portland, Oregon. What started as a casual way to share my favorite local spots with friends has grown into something so much more meaningful. I’ve always loved storytelling, especially through videography and photography and food has this amazing way of connecting people—so being able to spotlight small businesses and hidden gems in my community has been such a rewarding part of the journey.

So, a question everyone seems curious about: how did you get into food reviewing? What sparked your passion for sharing your culinary experiences?

It honestly happened pretty naturally! I’ve always been the person in my friend group who’s recommending where to eat, what to order, or what new spot just opened up. I started sharing those suggestions online just for fun, and over time, I realized how much I loved not only discovering new food but also telling the stories behind the places I visited. Supporting local businesses and getting to connect with people over something as universal as food—that’s what really sparked my passion and keeps me excited to share more.

Every Foodie has their unique spin on food and drink reviews. What specific types of food or beverages do you enjoy focusing on? And what draws you to that niche?

I’m always on the lookout for something unique and/or cheap! Those are the kinds of spots I naturally gravitate toward in my own life—things that feel a little off the beaten path or just hit that comfort food craving without breaking the bank. I get genuinely excited when I find something that feels like a hidden gem, and that’s what I love sharing the most.

Every Foodie has a unique flair that keeps viewers coming back. Can you share what makes your content distinctive and what you think resonates most with your audience?

I think what makes my content stand out is that it feels like you’re just tagging along with a friend. I try to keep things casual, honest, and fun — I’m not trying to be overly curated or overly critical.

I also just launched a YouTube channel where I’m starting to share more vlogs and behind-the-scenes from my adventures, so definitely keep an eye out there too!
