Grazing Tables Full of Love

Welcome to the One Bite Foodie Community! We’re thrilled to have you here. Could you start by telling us a bit about yourself and your journey as a food reviewer or influencer?

Thank you for having me! It's always an honor to share a piece of my journey with my business.

Cerutti Charcuterie was born at the end of 2022 when I created a spread for a friend's going away gathering and a new passion and art were unleashed for me. Everyone loved it and I had so much fun that I started experimenting with creating charcuterie boards for my own events and people that I knew. It wasn't long before word was spreading, people were asking to order them and my vision continued to expand.

I didn't even realize at the time that charcuterie boards and grazing tables were beginning to trend and so I jumped right in! I quickly decided that if I was going to expand then I wanted to be a legitimate business, so I moved my operations from my home and into a commissary kitchen where I was able to get permitted, licensed and insured.

From there I have been able to do everything from small platters to large grazing tables for weddings, birthdays, showers, corporate events and more. Everything that I create is done with love and intention for each person and event that I'm serving. It is always such a joy to see my clients' faces when my work is done!

So, how did your journey into food and beverage really start? What drew you to explore and share your experiences in this delicious world?

My journey with food has been quite the evolution throughout my life. When I started having children in my early twenties, my heart was opened to a desire to raise my kids more healthfully than I was (on fast food and hamburger helper). Healthy eating and living became a passion for me as I began to explore different diets and ways of eating. I eventually became a Certified Nutrition Consultant and my path has taken many forms over the years, from consulting with women on how to live healthier lives, to teaching people how to cook healthier in their own homes, and even providing meal prep services. Working with women is a passion of mine and inadvertently creating grazing tables became a new way for me to do this - since women are usually the ones planning the parties!

We can’t wait to see the awesome content you’ll be sharing! Could you share a bit about the kind of content you typically create and what makes it special to you?

I share everything charcuterie boards and grazing tables on my pages, of course! As mentioned before, everything that I create is done with intention and love. I always aim to use the best ingredients available to me - this means you will never find cheddar cheese or saltine crackers on my spreads (unless requested for the kids)! I aim for beauty, elegance, grace and taste to come through in all of my live creations as well as my content.

For your audience, what do you think makes you or your content stand out in the sea of creators? What do you bring to the table that’s distinctly yours?

You're right, it's tough to stand out in a world full of so many amazing creators and artists out there. I even know so many of them personally! For me though, I always try to stay true to myself so that the love and authenticity for my work always shines through. I don't try to keep up with the mainstream and I don't try to do what everyone else is doing, even though it can be tempting. Sometimes for me this means that I show up less because as a one woman show I really can't do everything ALL of the time, but I believe that showing up authentically is better than showing up untrue to what I want to put out into the world. My business is an extension of who I am as a woman and again, that means everything that I do and put out there is done with intention and love. I'm always striving to be better as a woman and a business owner and I believe that contributes directly to the relationships that I've developed through my business over the years. It may seem off the topic of food, but I believe that all of this is actually directly related to the energy and success of my business.

It’s been fantastic hearing your journey! Before you leave, how can our audience keep up with what you’re doing and find out more about your content?

My website is a constant evolution and reflection of my business. Not only can you book with me and place orders there, but you can also read my newly released articles page on Table Talk with Mimi where I'll be going a little deeper into the nuts and bolts - or meats and cheeses - of my business. I'm also working on some ideas for expansion of my services to be shared soon!
