One Bite Foodie Policies

Welcome to One Bite Foodie! We’re here to help food lovers share their passion for tasty dishes and help local eateries get the recognition they deserve. Below, you’ll find our policies that cover everything from our Affiliate and Advertising Programs to content sharing and member behavior. By being a part of the One Bite Foodie community, you agree to follow these policies to keep the platform fun and safe for everyone.

1. Affiliate Program

If you’re a verified One Bite Foodie, you can join our Foodie Affiliates Program to partner with restaurants and brands to sell advertising. This allows you to turn your food reviews into a real hustle. Here’s what you need to know:

  • You’re responsible for ensuring that all agreements with advertisers or brands are legitimate and follow local laws.

  • All sales through our Affiliate Program are final. No refunds will be given.

  • You can cancel your participation in the program at any time, but remember, we don’t offer refunds on any affiliate services or fees.

 

2. Advertising Program

Our Advertising Program lets restaurants and brands buy ad space to promote their products or services directly to One Bite Foodie members. If you’re advertising with us, keep these policies in mind:

  • No Refunds: All sales for ads are final, and we offer no refunds for any reason. This includes any cancellations, whether initiated by the advertiser or by One Bite Foodie due to violations of our terms.

  • Advertisers can cancel their ads at any time, but no refunds will be provided for unused portions of their campaigns.

  • All advertising content must comply with our community guidelines and standards, ensuring ads are appropriate for our platform and audience.

 

3. Privacy and Public Domain

When you upload content to One Bite Foodie, it becomes part of the public domain, meaning anyone can view, share, and interact with it. Here’s what that means for you:

  • You still own your content, but by uploading it, you give us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, promote, and share it on our platform and through social media, marketing, or any other purpose related to One Bite Foodie.

  • We respect your privacy. Any personal information you provide, such as your email address or payment details, is protected and will not be shared without your consent.

 

4. Member-Reported Content

We trust our community to help maintain the integrity of One Bite Foodie. If you see content that violates our guidelines (think: harmful, abusive, or inappropriate content), you can report it. Here’s how we handle reported content:

  • First Strike: We’ll give the member a warning and let them know why their content was removed.

  • Second Strike: A second violation will result in a temporary suspension of the member’s account, and they’ll have to appeal to regain access.

  • Third Strike: After three strikes, the account will be permanently banned.

 

We may also conduct random spot checks of content to ensure everything on our platform meets our community standards. If your content is removed or your profile is banned, you can appeal by contacting us at support@onebitefoodie.com. Our team will review the case and get back to you with a decision.

 

5. Appeals Process

If your content is removed or your account is banned, don’t panic—you can appeal:

  • Contact us within 30 days of the action taken on your account.

  • Our team will review your case and respond within 7 business days.

  • If your appeal is accepted, your content or account will be reinstated. If not, the original decision will stand.

 

6. Zero Tolerance & Repeat Violators

We have a zero-tolerance policy for certain behaviors, including hate speech, threats, harassment, or any illegal activity. If we find that you’ve engaged in this type of behavior, your account will be banned immediately without warning or the opportunity to appeal.

 

7. No Refunds Policy

We want to be upfront—One Bite Foodie has a No Refunds policy. Whether you’re a member, affiliate, or advertiser, all sales are final, and we don’t offer refunds on any purchases, services, or subscriptions. While you can cancel your participation at any time, no refunds will be provided for unused portions or for cancellation after a purchase.

 

8. Content Violations

If your content violates our guidelines, you’ll be notified, and actions may be taken to remove the content or suspend your account. Violations include, but are not limited to:

  • Sharing offensive, harmful, or illegal content.

  • Posting content you don’t own or have the rights to share.

  • Engaging in abusive or harassing behavior.

 

Repeat violators will be banned from the platform after three strikes or sooner for serious offenses, as outlined above.

 

9. Cancellation

You’re free to cancel your membership, participation in the Affiliate Program, or Advertising Program at any time. However, no refunds will be issued for any remaining time, unused services, or content already posted. All sales are final.
