Effective Date: January 12, 2025 The following Terms of Use govern your application to the Los Angeles Fire Emergency Relief Fund (“the Fund”) operated by One Bite Foodie. By submitting an application, you agree to these terms and conditions. --- Eligibility and Application Process 1. Eligibility: The Fund is intended to assist restaurants, food and beverage workers, and related businesses suffering financial hardship due to the 2025 Los Angeles fires. 2. Application Review: Submission of an application does not guarantee the receipt of funds. All applications will be reviewed and verified for accuracy and legitimacy. Additional documentation may be requested as part of the verification process. Funds will be distributed based on the availability of donations and the severity of financial hardship as determined by One Bite Foodie. 3. Distribution of Funds: Funds will be distributed on a rolling basis, contingent upon the amount of donations received. Applicants may receive partial or no funding depending on the total funds available and the number of qualified applicants. 4. Non-Discrimination Policy: One Bite Foodie does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, gender, sexual orientation, national origin, disability, age, or any other legally protected status in the review or distribution of funds. --- Agreement to Share Your Story 1. Media Participation: By accepting funds, you agree to share your story (written, video, or audio) upon request. This content may be used for promotional or awareness purposes to encourage further donations and community support. 2. Confidentiality: While we may share your story publicly, personal or sensitive information (e.g., tax identification numbers or financial records) will not be disclosed without your explicit consent. --- Use of Funds Funds must be used exclusively for the purpose of recovering from financial hardships directly caused by the 2025 Los Angeles fires. Misuse of funds may result in legal action and the requirement to return the awarded amount. --- Legal Disclaimers 1. No Guarantees: One Bite Foodie does not guarantee funding to any applicant. Applications are subject to availability of funds and discretionary approval. 2. Limited Liability: One Bite Foodie is not liable for any damages, financial or otherwise, resulting from the application process or denial of funds. 3. Administrative Fee: A small administrative fee of 10% is applied to all donations to cover operational costs. The remaining 90% of funds will be distributed to qualified applicants. 4. Termination: One Bite Foodie reserves the right to suspend or terminate the Fund at any time without notice. --- General Provisions 1. Governing Law: These terms are governed by the laws of the state of California. 2. Entire Agreement: These Terms of Use constitute the entire agreement between you and One Bite Foodie regarding the Fund. 3. Amendments: One Bite Foodie reserves the right to amend these terms at any time.
