One Bite Foodie Terms of Use

Welcome to One Bite Foodie! We’re excited to have you as part of our community, where foodies everywhere come together to share their one-bite reviews and discover hidden gems. Before you dive in, please take a moment to read through these Terms of Use (“Terms”). By using One Bite Foodie, you agree to these Terms—so if you’re not cool with them, you might want to hit pause and have a read. Let's get started!

1. The Basics
When you create an account on One Bite Foodie, you’re joining a community of food enthusiasts who love trying new things and giving honest, authentic reviews. You agree to follow these Terms and any guidelines we set out to make this platform a fun, respectful, and awesome place for everyone.

2. User-Generated Content
When you upload videos, photos, or reviews to One Bite Foodie, you’re creating “User-Generated Content” (or "UGC"). By posting your content, you’re giving us permission to use, share, promote, and even feature your content across our platform, social media channels, and marketing materials. This means your killer review could show up in one of our ads or promotions—how cool is that?

Here’s what you need to know:

Your Rights: You still own your content (it’s yours after all), but by uploading it to One Bite Foodie, you’re granting us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, irrevocable license to use, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish, and distribute your content.

Public Domain: Once you post your content on One Bite Foodie, it’s out there in the wild for anyone to see, share, and enjoy. By posting, you agree that your content is public and can be accessed by others.

Content Use: We might use your content in a bunch of cool ways, like featuring it in our marketing campaigns, posting it on our social media pages, or sharing it with the media. When you upload content, you’re giving us permission to do this—so you might just see your face and review pop up somewhere awesome.

3. Be Kind, Be Real
We encourage honest reviews, but we also expect everyone to be respectful. Don’t post anything that’s harmful, abusive, defamatory, or illegal (you know the drill). If you break the rules, we may take action, which could mean deleting your content or even suspending your account.

4. No Copyright Infringement
Keep it original, folks! By posting, you’re guaranteeing that you have the rights to the content you’re sharing. Don’t upload any videos, photos, or materials that you don’t own, and don’t infringe on anyone else’s rights. If you do, and someone makes a claim against us, we’ll pass that responsibility (and any costs) on to you.

5. Arbitration and Governing Law
We hope things never get to this point, but if any legal disputes come up, you agree to resolve them through binding arbitration in the State of Colorado. That means no court trials—just you, us, and a neutral third party figuring things out. By using One Bite Foodie, you’re agreeing that Colorado law applies to these Terms and any disputes that come up, without regard to any conflicts of law principles.

6. Free Food & Affiliates
If you’re a verified One Bite Foodie and are lucky enough to score free food from restaurants, congrats! But remember, this doesn’t mean you owe a positive review—honesty is still the name of the game. And if you’re part of our Foodie Affiliates program, you’ll need to follow any additional guidelines for selling ads or working with brands.

7. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time to keep things running smoothly, so check back every once in a while to stay in the loop. If we make any major changes, we’ll do our best to give you a heads-up.

8. Contact Us
Got questions or need help? Reach out to us at support@onebitefoodie.com, and we’ll get back to you as soon as we can.

Now that that’s out of the way, go ahead and start sharing your one-bite reviews! We can’t wait to see what you’ve got cooking.

Happy reviewing, The One Bite Foodie Team
